That machine’s fascinating. Five different types of water? What I’m trying to get my head around is how it does that – does the machine add the antioxidants or does it process the water in such a way that antioxidants naturally occur as the end result?

  2. The machine uses electrolysis to split apart some of the water molecules into H+ and OH- ions. The OH- ions create the alkaline water and they act as antioxidants. You can see a demo here: Water Machine Demo, and specifications here: Water Ionizer Specs.

  3. Harold says:

I wonder what the water tastes like once it comes out of the machine. Maybe it has no taste at all. I also wonder if he drinks it more often if he has a competition coming up or when he’s feeling slightly under the weather. He’s so fit and healthy though – maybe he rarely gets sick.

Thanks for explaining, alkalinewater, and sharing the video and other link. I find the process really interesting. I think it takes a deep understanding of water to be able to build a machine like that, one that respects its molecular make-up and negotiates with it with the same level of reverence.

Wade looks amazing, but I’m sure that drinking alkaline along with his healthy lifestyle is responsible for that. Apart from getting drinking water from the machine, what I also liked is that you can also use the water to get all of those harmful pesticides off of your fruits and veggies.

  6. Marty says:

I’ve just watched the video. The ionizer machine seems to take water to a whole different level. I clicked on the link for it. Does it ship to the UK at all? Or are there any distributors in the UK?

  7. Nicole says:

I read the post on the home page; the comparisons of different types of water opened my eyes to what I might be drinking. Now I’ve watched the above video with Wade and the machine – and it’s blown my mind. What in the world have I been drinking all along?

  8. Gavin says:

I’ve never heard of alkaline water ’til recently. I also never knew water could potentially have more antioxidants than Vitamin C (with the aid of that machine). I know water is good for you, but I just didn’t know it could be that good.

  9. Nellyfer says:

I guess if you’re doing something good for your body (e.g., eating raw food) and you’re seeing positive results, then that will be the motivation to want to take it further by looking at other areas of your health that you could improve upon. Therefore, why not look at water? I can understand why Wade made that move. It’s about ensuring that everything that goes into his body is the best quality possible. And it really seems to be working for him.
